Today was the kindergarten's awards ceremony. Ella received the Fabulously Friendly Award. I, for one, was not surprised at all. She is one of the kindest people I know, with a heart made of pure gold. Let me share an example of my sweet girl's kindness. The other day Parker went over to a friend's house to play. The kids and I stayed awhile and when it was time for us to go, the mom asked could Parker stay for dinner. Jack and Ella began to cry as a put them in the car and I said maybe I should just go get Parker and we will all go home. Through her tears Ella said, "No mommy please let her stay. I know it will make her happy to stay. I'll stop crying if she can stay." Is she something or what?
