Dr. Knight vs. Dr. Knight

Dr. Jesse Knight- gets up at 5:oo am to be at the hospital by 5:45. He will be working all this month with patients suffering with cancer. He will assist on surgeries, round on patients in the hospital, and see patients at the clinic. He will also get free lunches at the hospital cafeteria while enjoying stimulating conversation with other adults. He will end his day at about 6 pm unless an emergency arises.

Dr. Christie Knight- I get up about the same time because the other Dr. Knight always wakes up one of the little Knights while getting ready for work. I will do a bit of cleaning while waiting for the BYU channel to have 7:oo am scripture study from the Book of Mormon. I will then do 30 to 40 min on the elliptical while watching country music videos. After this I will feed all four children and get them ready for the day. They (the little Knights) will beg to watch the Backyardigans and I will give in so that I can take a 5 minute shower. Then we will fill the rest of our morning in the beautiful outdoors. Pennsylvania has some of the most amazing parks. We will come home for lunch and will also enjoy stimulating conversation usually provided by Parker and Ella. Jack and Asher will then be off for naps. The girls and I will attempt something crafty or educational (attempting to make use of that Ph.D) but there are those days when the Backyardigans will win out again. We then get dinner ready so the two Dr. Knights can enjoy time together as a family, that is if one of the two docs is not delayed removing something from someone else's body. Usually that is Dr. Jesse Knight, however there have been occasions when the other doc in the family is removing something from someone else's body but that's a whole other story.

So that's our day in a nut shell. Needless to say both of the docs are doing exactly what they want and having a great time doing it.

I love little peeks into daily life. But I HATE it when my Mister Williams wakes up Little Mister Williams while getting ready for work. Too early! So glad you stopped by my blog!

It's so good to recognize and value the differences AND similarities that exist in our roles! I love that we "chose" this path and are endowed with these responsibilities!
