Okay he would kill me if he knew the title of this post. He claims "Jesse" is what his patients will call him. And knowing him, I would think it would be a safe bet that he sticks to it. Well yesterday was Dr. Jesse's first day on the job. Actually at the moment he is going through orientation. Two days of critical care review, two days of hospital policy orientation, and one day of ENT orientation. His first official day as Dr. Knight will be Sunday. I'm trying to convince him that his first orders should be for a prescription of Zanex for his stay-at-home, mother of four ,five and under, wife. If only he could prescribe class three drugs. (ONLY KIDDING).
As of this morning he pretty much looked like Jesse to me. At 7:30 am he was out the door in a button down shirt and shorts and was off for he's mere 10 min walk from the house to the front door of the hospital.
For those of you who don't know, this first year here will be spent in a variety of areas. He will do a lot of general surgery, some facial plastics, and only three months or so of ENT. The four years after that will be strictly ENT. So there you go. If you want more details on his first few days as a doc your best time to get him will be at 5 pm. He will be walking the wood chipped path headed home and I'm sure won't mind at all letting you know how "Dr. Jesse" is doing.

What a great update on Dr. Jesse. How fortunate to be so close to the hospital. I'm thinking Craig will especially love the pith helmet photo!!

Good luck, Jess! We know you'll be a fantastic Dr. Knight!
Congrats again Jesse! What a great picture, I loved it. Have a great first week and new experiences -both of you. Hang in there and keep up the great work. Love you all.
Oh that's right, prescriptions in the family, uhm... Dr. Knight really doesn't sound right for him, I think it'll be Dr. Jesse. Maybe it's because you are the original Dr. Knight to me.
Oh I do love you Annette
