I've joined the clan
Well I've decided to jump on the band wagon and start my very own blog. Andy was the final push. I figure if a busy, working dad can do it, I should make the effort. My life at the moment consist of unpacking boxes, looking for my two year old boy who has found a new talent of alluding his mother and exploring his new neighborhood, and dreading the notion of loosing my hubby again to the wonderful world of medicine. We have two more weeks of his company, then he starts his residency. I attended a church function last night in which two of the residents' wives informed me that when they get discouraged about how much time their husbands spend away they simply tell themselves, "At least it's not ENT". (which is my husband's field). Needless to say I left the event feeling VERY uplifted. My only solace is that I have no doubt that Jesse will find every and anyway to make sure this a bearable experience for all.

I get to be your first commenter! Blogs are great, aren't they?
We are proud of you and Jesse for getting this far. We know you'll make it through the long absences and hard work.
How lucky I feel to already have a comment. I started this blog about 5 minutes ago. So thank you for taking the time to respond.
Hey, I'm so glad to have you join the ranks. I just love catching up on all your fun families and life. You and Jesse are the best. Have a great week end. love and hugs, jody
Love your new blog!!! I think you're all great to do this. And good old Jody found out how to "comment"...something comes to mind about old dogs and new tricks. I'm so thankful that you have a great home, family, ward and many new experiences awaiting you in PA. And now we will get to read all about them. Loves.
Yeah, Christie!!! You're such a trooper and I know you all will do awesome in this new chapter of your lives! XO!
Welcome aboard!!!! Let's get the whole fam to join in on this blogging madness!
Excited for your new adventure. Good that there are other resident wives. Someone to hang with on nights and weekends, right? That's the up side to your "uplifting experience."
Once upon a time....when I was six, I ate too much ice cream. Then, I realized THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! So I ate some more.
The End.
Okay, I just read the latest entry...is this thee Craig?!! As in "pith helmut Craig"? Will I actually get to hear his great humor even though you aren't in Georgia. Happy day all.
That is the Craig. You can't help but love him. At least that's the way we feel.
It was great talking to you and...wait-a-minute! What's that comment just a few comments above this comment?
And the award for 'Craig remembering that he had indeed posted a comment to Christie's blog despite her absolute insistence that he hadn't' goes to....CRAIG!
[much applause. screaming. tears of joy. warm feelings x 2]
Me: "Wow! This is so unexpected. I didn't prepare anything, but I'd like to thank my parents, my friends, Hogzilla, Space Ghost, Thundarr the Barbarian, Ookla the Mok, Princess Ariel, Gary Coleman, and Yoda."
