Back to School

I can't believe it's already time to get back to school. The first set of pictures I took at the open house for the kindergartens. The third picture shows Ella and her teacher. Doesn't she look about 16 years old. This is her first year teaching and I'm excited for her enthusiasm. It should be a great year for Ella.

The second set of shots shows the girls as they were going out the door this morning for the first day of school. Don't they just look adorable. I just loved the tenderness Parker showed to Ella this morning. She filled her in on all the "rules" and let her know she shouldn't be embarrassed to ask help tying her shoes, as it really something only a first grader knows how to do. I also thought it was sweet when she told her that if she had any questions in the day just to come find her next door and she would "clear things up for her". Although I was sad to see this day come, I'm so excited for the girls and the adventures that lie ahead.
Last night as Jesse was giving father's blessings to the kids, Parker asked to be blessed that she would do well in school and mind the teacher, Ella wanted a blessing so she wouldn't miss her mom, and Jack wanted to be a nicer boy. When we said, "Jack you are already a nice boy" he relied, "I want to be an even nicer boy so I can make lots of friends". I just love their uniqueness and their sweet little hearts. Do they have to grow up so fast?

Take it from me when I say they grow up way too fast. As your precious Ella is starting school, my precious girl is starting high school! Talk about time flying by. Parker, I'm so proud of how good of a big sister you are, Ella is very lucky to have you. Ella, you are just the most beautiful kindergartener around, I'm sure of it. I love you all so much and please tell Jack I don't think he can get any sweeter and he'll always have a friend in me and Channy
