The kids went to a birthday/tea party on Thursday. While the girls were putting on their party dresses, Jack went and got his Sunday suit and asked could he wear it to the party. After getting dressed he took me into the bathroom and asked could I put gel in his hair. When we got to the party, Jack said to the mom, as she opened the front door, "Hi my name is Jack and am handsome and a gentlemen". He then went right over to the birthday girl, did a little bow and said, "Can I have the first dance?" I have to say, he is one of the cutest boys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and what a blessing it is to be the one raising him.

Part of the birthday festivities included decorating straw hats. Jack got to decorate a St. Patrick's Day hat. I just LOVE this picture.

Jesse and I got to go to a resident's dinner/dance last night. It was kind of a party to say farewell to the out going chiefs and for us, a time to celebrate Jesse's intern year coming to a close and moving into the first year of ENT residency. Only four more to go! We had such a good time. The food was fantastic and the dancing was so much fun.
