Okay, you probably can't even tell by the picture but this is my starter garden. The kids and I had so much fun planting beefsteak and cherry tomatoes, squash and zucchini, green beans and green onions, broccoli and cauliflower, sweat peas, spinach and lettuce. I feel I've been over zealous since this is my first garden. We have a guy in our church who runs a trucking line and he mentioned that truckers across the nation are about to go on strike. So it scared me into planting more than I can probably handle. However, it was good fun with the kids. I did have a moment of tears when I realized I couldn't call my dad (a life long farmer) and find out just how many seeds to place in each pod. (For you gardeners out there please don't inform me as to how many seeds that should have been because the deed is done and if I find out now I put too many I'll worry all season.)
Now a shout out to Carla and Erica. I just put tons of music on my ipod. Songs like "When Doves Cry", "Love Bites" and "We're Not Going to Take It". Reminds me of my Olympia Skate Center Days. Chris Routine, Malcolm Rogers, and the Stone Twins. Oh and least I forget T.L. Rogers, who I felt sure was the love of my life or was that Chris Spivey. I can't remember. How many boys did I think were the love of my life until the real thing came along. You two (Carla and Erica) REALLY don't have to answer that question.
P.S. Who's hair does the lead guitarist remind you of my girls of the 80's and 90's?

Somehow I feel like my twin sister might be talking about me! Those were the good ole days, unfortunately, I was desperately in love and NO ONE would give me the time of day. Christie got any guy she wanted and I got to sit on the benches at the skating rink wishing someone would ask me to couples skate (it never happened.) On second thought, they weren't such good ole days after all but the music was the best!
I believe I never turned T.L.'s head and if memory serves me correctly you, my twin, became the head turner around 10th grade or so and still hold the title between us twins. And who was it that won Dennis Henry's heart? LOL
And we never coupled skated did we? Weren't we too cool for that? Or maybe we just couldn't skate backwards?
So, each and every day I check the blog written by one of my dearest friends of all time and each time I see there is not a new post, I must admit I am a little disappointed. (Of course I understand that she has quite a busy household so I understand.) But each and every time there is a new post, it warms my heart and brings a smile to my face - this one actually made me laugh out loud! Thank you for ALWAYS being Christie!
Shall we share with Erica which hair band members that best represent each of us back then?
