I have decided to solicite my friends and family for advice on everyday topics. So Each week (if I remember) I'd like to ask the question, "What works for you? in various areas of life. I have amazing friends and family members who are great individuals, great spouses, great parents, and just plain great.
So here's my first question. What works for you in the area of physical exercise? I called my twin last week to find out how she maintains such a great bottom. (By the way I called her first to ask for permission to reveal this conversation) . So now she will respond and let you know how her fantastic tushy is maintained.
For me its video tapes. I would love to belong to a gym but financially its impossible. So every morning after putting Parker on the bus Ella and I take and hour and do various tapes. I found a great set at our local Salvation Army entitled Slim in 6 and I also love Turbo Jam. I've never been so sore from a work out and am fitting in jeans I haven't wore in quite some time.
I also use everyday events as an opprotunity to get a little toning in. For example, when I have to pick up dirting clothes off the floor I do a squat in order to reach them or if I'm making my way down the hall to get the baby I do front kicks all the way there and I never (well all most never) go up the stairs without stopping to do calf extensions.
So gals and guys, What works for you?
(If you have any suggestions for future questions let me know)

Unfortunately, the older you get the harder it gets. I'm fortunate, however, to have an eliptical machine in my house which I use, without fail, at least 5 days a week. Recently I've added the Bender Ball to my routine. It is designed to help not only your legs and bum but also you abs. I'd really love to say that I don't do anything and it's all natuaral but while I'm blessed with good genes, father time cares not about any of that. I'm interested to see what works for everyone else.
Winter makes it tough too. But I like the videos. Dori gave me some Pilates DVDs that I love. And for the record, you have a gorgeous bod, I would nearly kill for it.
We enjoy family activities - we have a badmitton/volley ball net and a basketball hoop out in the yard and soccer and baseball are fun too. Sometimes we like to have jumproping contests but those usually turn into giggling contests so there's not much exercise involved (but it is good for your core muscles)!
