Not A Day Goes By
Not A Day Goes BY:
1. That I'm not vividly aware how lucky I was to be your daughter.
2. That I don't remember how much I was loved.
3. That I don't recall that for 35 years I always knew you would be there, NO MATTER WHAT.
4. That I don't miss your smile, your smell, being able to sit in your lap.
5. That I don't thank the Lord for blessing me with such a wonderful father.
6. That I don't pray for my mom, she still misses you.
7. That I don't pray for my sisters, we're all still healing.
8. That I don't wish for one more day.
9. That I don't wonder how long it will take before the pain subsides.
10.That I'm not grateful for the knowledge and assurance that I have that I will see you again someday.
Not A Day Goes by that I don't miss you. I love you most!

It's Carla. Thanks for a reminder of all the things we have to be thankful for. We may not have him with us now but we were the luckiest women in the world to have him in our lives. I pray for you because although we share each others pain, you are the one so far away. I love you very much and am here for you if you need me.
My precious friends,my heart and prayers are with you all - today and always. This world lost an incredibly wonderful, caring, loving man a year ago. There are not many people that are as dear and true as Papa was but we can all aspire to continue to make him proud. I am thankful that I was one of the lucky ones to know his unending love and I continue to carry him in my heart each day of my life.
My heart goes out to you. He sounds absolutely wonderful...which isn't hard to imagine, since I know how special you are! Lovely post. You are very sweet about your daddy!
Christie,
I wanted to visit your blog because I feel like I know you from Rindi. She speaks so highly of you. That was a beautiful dedication to your dad. I was really touched. Thanks for being Rindi's "big sister" on all those days I'm not there!
Sunee (Rindi's Sister)
