That's the pot calling the kettle black.

I love the new song by Sugarland "Stay", and yes I am aware that its message (that of the side of the other woman involved in an affair) is not great but I love Jennifer Nettles voice. Anyway I was on youtube last night looking up the video to listen to while I cleaned the kitchen. I found the video but also found tons of other homemade videos of individuals singing the same song. To my surprise most of these videos were of little kids (both boys and girls) singing this song about adultery.
Well I click on the video and start cleaning and am thinking to myself "I can't believe parents would let their kids learn the lyrics to this song and post it on the net." (Okay for the full effect imagine a 5 years old rounding the corner at this very moment singing in her best country voice) "Why don't you stay, I'm down on my knees. I'm so tired of being lonely, don't I give you what you need." WHAT!! That 's my five year old singing the chorus to said song and not missing a word. Ooops!
And to add insult to injury the questions start, "Mom, why is she so sad?, Mom why is she singing about another persons boyfriend?" and the best of all, "Mom, does another woman feel this way about dad?" Needless to stay I'll be watching what I clean to from now on.

Oops! Don't stress over it too much - it happens to the best of us (sometimes you just need a break from High School Musical and Hannah Montana). Also take pride in the fact that you didn't post it on the internet!
