My First "Twin" Experience

Last night I was awakened from a peaceful sleep to a sharp pain in my lower back. Only a second later my mom called and said that Carla had just got a lumbar puncture and that it didn't go well and that she was in terrible pain. SPOOKY HUH?

Okay the drama side of me couldn't pass up this moment. If the truth be known, I already knew Carla was in the hospital and would be getting a lumbar puncture. But I did wake up to a dull, not really sharp pain, in my lower back. But there again I was laying really funny.

As for Carla, she did have a bad experience with the whole lumbar puncture. She has been released from the hospital and feeling somewhat better but still is experiencing the neck and shoulder pain that got her into the hospital in the first place.

As for me, my back is okay. However, I do think I should take it easy today. I'm going down to watch cartoons with the kids with a nice cup of hot chocolate. This "twin" experience can be quite traumatic.

OM Gosh. I totally thought you were going to say you were pregnant with twins. That would be awesome.
