Walking with me

My mother-in-law posted a blog, not too long ago, in which she took us on a walking tour of the walk she took while in Oregon. I thought it was such a neat idea that I thought I would take you along with me on the walk I TRY to take each day.
This is one of my favorite houses I pass on my walk. I walk pass this house pretty early on.
This is the wood chip path Jesse takes to work.
The view of the first street I turn down. Beautiful view.
Beautiful flower shot. There are many shots I could have taken of properties with beautiful flowers.

I also pass these flowers. Is this lavender MarySue?

Most of the properties here have this type of star on their houses.I am not sure if there is any symbolism (besides the whole patriotic thing).
I also walk by Parker's school.

I signed up for the garden club next spring at Parker's school, so I thought I'd show you what's there at the present time in the form of flowers.

Every house is decorated for halloween. The following pictures are all from the same yard and one of my favorites.

One of the many parks one can find here in our area.
As you can imagine, many of the yards here in Pennsylvania have the American Flag flying proud.
My view as a start down my last hill.
As I round the block I pass the Jacobsen's house (our favorite neighbors)
Home Sweet HomeAnd I saved the best for last, my walking partner.
Here is Asher at the beginning of our walk.

And here he is at the end of our walk.

And here is one of the sweeties I get to come home to and how he greets me each time I come in the door.

P.S. Looking forward to making this walk with you MarySue and anyone else who ventures our way and would like to take a simply beautiful walk.

I'm in love with your neighborhood. I really had not imagined it correctly, but how could I. It is beautiful and I know you must be feeling very blessed. Thanks loads.

I do feel so blessed. If I could move all of you here and my family in Georgia, I could stay forever. Of course this statement comes before experiencing a winter here. I may be singing a different tune then but so far I just love it.

Me again, I forgot to tell you I think that plant is Russian sage but it may be Russian lavendar. Jody knows but her computer isn't working so she's in the dark. I don't know when I'll get to go on that walk with you but I will love it when it happens.
