Changes to the Girls Room

The girl's room started out with a cute Picket Fence Border all around the bottom of the walls. Well it didn't take long for their little brother to rip a big section of the wallpaper off, right behind the girl's bed. It drove me crazy, so I finally talked Jesse into helping me rectify the problem. I took all the wallpaper off the damaged wall and had Jesse paint it bright yellow. I told the girl's that this would be the sun wall.
Parker came to us after the wall had been painted and said the only thing their room was missing was clouds. So I got to work with a sponge and white paint and added clouds to the walls.

This is a picture of a mirror I rescued from the neighbor's garbage (I so felt like Trevlyn). Anyway I took their mirror home, reapplied the back, and painted it red to match the dresser.

This next picture is of the only wall in the room which is not decorated. So I need your opinion. I thought about attempting painting a tree in the corner (with my sister's help who is coming to visit next week) or I could just paint clouds on it, or I could just leave it alone following the notion that less is more. So what do you think? I will not pick up the paint till I get your opinion.
P.S. The fish is not a part of the decor. It is a product of an art project Parker had at school.

Thanks for the link on my email MarySue. I think bookselves holding odds & ins may be what I go with.

You could incorporate both ideas - paint the tree on the wall and have each branch be a shelf that holds the odds & ins

I love it! What color blue did you use (I am looking for one for Penelope's room!)
