Soccer Anyone?

The girls had their first soccer game today. It was very hot and we missed daddy but we still had a great time. The girls gave it their all running up and down the field and both managed to help their team score a few goals. At one point in Ella's game I searched the field and couldn't find her. I ask my friend "Do you see Ella?" Her reply "I think she's over there". I looked in the direction she was pointing and there was Ella lying under one of the girls from church big umbrella eating cookies. She had left her team mate Andrew on the field in the middle of the game all by himself. Poor Andrew. (The kids play three on three but we were short a player)

Yea!!!! You're a "Soccer Mom"! The girls look so adorable in their uniforms! I'd be right there with Ella eating the cookies!!! Too cute! I'm so glad we can experience their lives through these pictures being so far away! XO!

That's my girl Ella. When I attempted to play soccer at her age, I stood in the middle of the field and watch as everyone else ran by me. I never once moved or tried to kick the ball. At least she knew to go find cookies. Too cute and a story to always remember.

That is sooooo adorable! We had our first games yesterday too, and the 4 year old attention span cracks me up. Every kid had their moment of picking flowers, posing for pictures instead of kicking the ball, or just plain goofing around (guess who).

How cute are they. I miss them so very much. I can't believe how big they are. Channy needs to be there to cheer them on like they have done for her so many times.
