First let me say I'm grateful for Annette for encouraging others to make a list of things we are grateful for, THANKS Annette.
I'm grateful for:
-little girls who stand on tippy toes to reach the soap to clean their hands after painting with Q-tips.
- a little boy with a red tint to his hair who wakes up from his nap and runs straight to his mommy.
- another little boy who kicks his feet in the bath tub and splashes. It makes me smile.
-for being the one my kids call after a nightmare, a fall, or an achievement. It does my heart good to be that person.
-for a husband that I love more than I thought possible. He makes me want to be a better person because I want to be deserving of his love.
- for a mom who I love dearly. I love calling her and hearing her say "I love you babe" each time before she hangs up.
-for a dad I still think about everyday and to sweet memories and an assurance that I will see my dad again. (and for Cheryl for the reminder that we must live our lives to be assured that we qualify for such a reunion.)
-for a twin sister, who has taught me by example, how to be a good mother. I didn't know it at the age of sixteen, but she truly is one of my best friends. I love her more than I can say and hope and pray (daily) that she is blessed (always) with the happiness she deserves.
- for older sisters who are an inspiration. Karen's dedication to everything she does is inspirational, and Cheryl's loves for her family warms my heart.
- for MarySue and the time she has taken to teach me how to be a better gardner, cook, organizer, mother, and wife.
- for Steve who makes my kids laugh. They swear, besides their dad, grandpa is the funniest guy around.
-for PA friends who have helped to make this transition easy and enjoyable.
-for C. Walker who is missed terribly and who is thought of often.
-for E. Jaskula- Moore who to this day is the friend I could never live without.
- for sisters-in-law who feel just like sisters. I am truly blessed in this reguard.
-for Craig Pierce (or auntie craig) who is one of my husband's best friends and for a program here that might bring him closer. My whole family loves him.
-for bloggers who give me one more thing to look forward to each day.
- for the rain. I love the way the earth smells after the rain.
- for a beautiful home, reliable car, and money to pay the bills.
- last but by no means least for a Father in Heaven who loves me. Isn't that incredible. Me- Christie Knight- is loved by a supreme being. I loving knowing that. I've known it since I was a little girl and my knowledge has only continued to grow concerning this matter. I was born to two of the best parents around and have three beautiful sisters, that fact testifies of my Father in Heaven's love. I have a beautiful husband and four children who make me glad to be alive, that testifies of my Father's love. I have blessing after blessing as counted above which testifies of the Lord's loves for me and most importantly I have a knowledge of my Savior. A perfect being who was sent by my Heavenly Father to assure my return home again. What more evidence do I need of His love.
Have a great day,
Christie
