A new family tradition!!

Parker has decided that one night a week the children will be in charge of the menu for supper. The child who chooses the menu will also help mom prepare the meal. Since Parker came up with this clever idea, she was in charge of tonight's meal. The theme for tonight, "A meal fit for a princess" (Parker chosen title).

The menu read as follows:
Appetizer: Green Apples with Peanut Butter

Entree: Chicken Nuggets, carrots (which she cut herself), and rice pilaf.

Dessert: Rice Krispie Treats, decorated like a flower garden.
Parker also wanted the table to look extra special, so we brought out the fancy green Christmas table cloth, picked flowers for the center piece, and she and Ella made candle holders using jars, glue, and tissue paper.
The night was just lovely and the girls and Jack will be learning new skills to boot. Well done Parker for starting a wonderful family tradition!

It'd eat that yummy dinner anytime with all of you. Fun and new view from the kitchen to the livingroom/front window. So great to get acquainted with your new home through photos.

That is impressive! Your home does look great and spacious and nice. Seriously, is that rice krispie cake for real? You can tell I am not blood related to this family, wait neither are you, what's going on here?
